Health & Wellness - Alternative Medicine?

Following up on my question last week regarding Alternative Medicine options to treat my sinus infection/positional benign vertigo. I've done a little research and came up with more details regarding Myofascial release. This is a form of soft tissue therapy used to treat somatic dysfunction and accompanying pain and restriction of motion. This is accomplished by relaxing contracted muscles, increasing circulation, increasing venous and lymphatic drainage, and stimulating the stretch reflex of muscles and overlying fascia.

I've also come across this information that an "Increased Immunity Studies performed at the Touch Research Institute at the University of Miami School of Medicine measured the level of cortisol in saliva both before and after a massage. Cortisol--a hormone that is produced when you are stressed--decreased dramatically after massage. Cortisol attacks cells in the body needed for immunity, so researchers concluded that massage can help boost immunity." I'm looking forward to going this route since I'm not convinced the antibiotic I've received is working its magic.
